Cardno is seeking a Multimedia Developer to work from a home office in the US, supporting our Layton, UT office.
Cardno Government Services is looking for a talented and enthusiastic Multimedia Developer expert with some Instructional Design experience who can work from a home office in support of our Layton, UT office, and is able to help with various projects on an as needed basis. In this full-time position, you will work with Project Managers, other Instructional Designers, and our client SMEs to develop effective, user-friendly, and performance-based materials and interactive media. We will consider both part-time as well as full-time candidates.
Candidates must have a proven ability to develop materials beyond "click and read," and thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Courses may include, but are not limited to revision of existing training courses, designing new courses, and creating new interactive elements for course curriculum.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
> Independently create appropriate eLearning solutions based on design documents, storyboards, and project agreements.
> Revise and rewrite content to accommodate learning needs.
> Adapt instructional materials created for one format to another format.
> Follow established review process for feedback throughout development process.
> Proactively communicate project progress and deliver high-quality work that meets deadlines.
> Work in accordance with company objectives, values, and strategy.
> Other duties may be assigned.
Qualifications:
>Bachelor's Degree in relevant field with a solid understanding of Instructional Design, adult learning theory, and the ADDIE model
>At least 2 years experience developing eLearning solutions
>Experience with Learning Management Systems a must
>Advanced Articulate Storyline experience
>Advanced PowerPoint skills, including basic graphic design
>Experience working in Adobe Captivate, Adobe Flash, Moodle, and Adobe Photoshop desired
>Good technical understanding of SCORM
>Experience working with Department of Defense, US Navy or United States Marine Corps a plus
>Excellent written and verbal communication skills and research abilities
>Experience in recording, editing, and producing basic audio desired

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
